Experienced retailers will also take the lead in e-business.
E-tail = retail
In 1999 the internet specialists were saying that e-commerce would threaten sales through the traditional retail channel. Traditional retailers were lagging far behind in this area. Nowadays people become slowly convinced with the fact that the future of e-commerce is with the traditional retailers. They have the ability to integrate the virtual with the physical and will make e-tail in retail and reverse.
Confusing research results
There have been many research in the consequences of e-commerce. The results are in contradiction however. They only make future expectations less dependable. On top of that no one can explain what the products will be with high market share and products that will hardly reach any.
